Section
1: Categories of Membership
The
task force shall have two categories of membership: (i) Full member, and
(ii) Associate member.
Section
1.1: Full Member
Any
person with an advanced degree (as determined by their respective profession
and noted below) who has training and experience in the field of eating
disorders, is eligible to become a full member of the task force. Full
members have voting privileges. Full members must attend at least two
meetings a year.
Psychologists:
Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D.
Dietitian: R.D.
Physician: M.D. or D.O.
Social Worker: M.S. W.
Nurse: B.S., R.N.
Counselor: Master's degree in counseling or related field
Section
1.2: Associate Member
Any
person who does not meet complete criteria for full membership and is
interested or involved in the field of eating disorders is eligible to
become an associate member of the task force. Associate members do no
have voting privileges.
Section
2: Dues (due December of each year)
The
annual dues will be $10.00 per year for full and associate members. The
dues may be revised upon discretion of full members of the task force.
Members who fail to pay their dues within 90 days from the time they become
due shall be notified by the task force. If payment is not made within
the next succeeding 90 days, the member shall, without further notice
and without hearing, be dropped from the rolls and forfeit all rights
and privileges of membership unless delayed by the task force officers
for a good and sufficient cause.
